Favored Generation supports individuals, youth and families through community programs focused on practical care, education, wellness, digital access, personal development and meaningful connection.

Who we are
Favored Generation is a Christian-founded nonprofit serving individuals, youth and families through community-based programs in Canada, the United States and verified international locations.
Our work addresses practical needs while creating opportunities for education, mentorship, wellness, digital access, social connection and volunteer service. We treat every participant with dignity, protect their privacy and safety, and use donated resources responsibly.
General community programs are open to eligible participants regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, disability or socioeconomic background. Participation never depends on attending worship, prayer or other religious activities.

The need
The communities we work with are not defined by one challenge. We do not assume that one program fits every community: we work with local partners and participants to understand the need, decide what support is appropriate, and deliver something respectful, useful and realistic.
Students and families may have limited access to reliable computers, internet support, learning materials, or the guidance needed to take full part in education and skill development.
Young people benefit from trusted adults, leadership opportunities, creative learning, mentorship and practical preparation for education, work and community life.
Periods of financial difficulty make food, hygiene items, school materials and other everyday essentials harder to obtain.
Individuals and families may face barriers to health information, supportive relationships, community activities, or referrals to appropriate services.
Programs
Our community-impact work is coordinated through the Thrive Community Hub. Each program has a distinct purpose, audience and delivery approach.

Our reports distinguish between what was delivered, what participants experienced, and what we plan to improve. Goals for next year are never presented as completed results.

Where we work
We have delivered programs, outreach activities and faith-based events through teams and partners in Canada, the United States and Nigeria. The nature of the work differs by location.
Every location we publish says whether an activity is recurring, completed, partner-supported or planned — so a finished one-off event is never presented as an ongoing program.
Partners
We work with schools, nonprofits, community organizations, churches, businesses, health providers, technology partners, volunteers and funders. Partners contribute program expertise, funding, donated goods, volunteer time, venues, technology, referrals, transportation or local knowledge.

Partner relationships and logo permissions are being re-confirmed for 2026. A logo here indicates a working relationship, not an endorsement beyond that relationship.

Favored Generation was established on Christian principles of compassion, integrity, service, hope and responsible stewardship. Those values guide how we treat participants, work with partners, manage resources and serve communities.
Our general community-support programs welcome eligible participants from different backgrounds. Access to practical support does not depend on religious belief, or on taking part in prayer, worship or religious instruction. Faith-specific activities are clearly identified so that participants can make an informed choice.
Trust and accountability
We are committed to responsible governance, financial stewardship, participant safety, privacy, accessible service and honest reporting. The information a funder or participant needs should be easy to find, not buried.
